Hiding Places

If you widened the crack on the wall with the Sharp-Edged Stone before an encounter, you can crawl through it to escape.

Behind the curtain. Jennifer will sometimes jump out of the curtain once Scissorman walks past, and you'll have to book it to the left to escape.

Run past the partition door. Jennifer will lock it behind her. Either Scissorman will be fooled and leave, or he'll break down the door and kill you.

You can hide under the left bed. If the parrot is still in the cage, or flying around, then he'll alert Scissorman to your presence and he'll stab you. Once the parrot is captured in the bedding, this is a foolproof place to hide.

Climb over the freestanding cabinet on the left. If you moved the crate earlier to get the Black Robe, Jennifer will just hop right over. If you did not yet move the crate, she'll enter a Panic Mode state and you'll have to button mash to help her over.

Climb the ladder into the hayloft. Only a random chance of success, sometimes Scissorman will loop back and drop down on you from the ceiling.
Jennifer can also hide inside the car.

If you widened the crack on the wall with the Sharp-Edged Stone before an encounter, you can crawl through it to escape.

Jennifer can hide in the wardrobe (Rewind Mode only). Chance of a Panic Mode event where Scissorman intuits your hiding spot, and if you succeed Jennifer will knock him back and you can run out of the room.

When running from Scissorman, there's a chance a portion of the floor will collapse. If you survive the Panic Mode, Jennifer will climb back up and the pursuit will be called off.

Run past the partition door. Jennifer will lock it behind her. Either Scissorman will be fooled and leave, or he'll break down the door and kill you.

Enter from the second floor of West Hallway (Center) when being chased. One of two things will happen that will allow you to escape Scissorman:
- If you have not laid down the plank, Jennifer will leap over the gap in the floor. Scissorman will try to follow, but won't quite clear the gap.
- If you did lay the plank over the hole, Jennifer will run across it. Scissorman will try to follow, but Jennifer will tilt the plank and cause him to fall to the floor below.
