Rising Stairs

Shoot the barrel on the way to the Save Point for some Gold Coins. Head up the stairs, but go slow. Just past the halfway point you'll be attacked by two Spiders. Back up a bit and take them out. Creep back up the stairs again and keep an eye on the top of the archway. You might be able to spot a Spider creeping near the ceiling (easier to do with Silly Spiders activated), and if so you can shoot it before it charges. If you can't see it, but keep moving up the stairs until it sees you and charges forward. Once the stairs are safe, finish the ascent to the landing.
Hard Mode
In Hard/Ironman mode, there are a couple additional challenges here. While on the stairs, you'll also be attacked by a Medium Spider as you near the top. Make sure you have your Shield and fancy footwork ready.
As you reach the top of the stairs, be careful. At the other end of the landing, to the right, is a Poison Floater. As usual, ease around the corner to try and take it out quickly. If it manages to get some spit out, it's a lot harder to dodge from here. The Wand has some slight aim assist, and the closeness of this floater makes it hard to aim at the poison ball instead of the enemy. Plus the poison will follow you around the corner and down the stairs. So it's best to wait until you hear the poison hit the corner, then lean out and start blasting before it can shoot again.
Once the deadly enemy is dispatched, look to the left. There's a crate with some Gold Coins inside sitting by the rubble. Turn around and inch your way toward the center of the room. If you look up, you can see a large hole in the ceiling. There are two Spiders clung to one of the edges of the hole. You can shoot them as soon as they're in eyesight, or move past the center of the room to trigger them to charge you. Once they're taken care of, turn your attention to the Runic Panel along the wall. The goal here is to enter the correct runes to open up a hidden compartment. You can find two of them nearby. Each of the two tapestries has a rune sewn into the pattern. So you can spot

. You can either tap the runes on the panel now, or just remember them for later. Shoot the small pot near Odin's pedestal for some Gold Coins, then head up the next set of stairs.
As you near the top, you'll be rushed by another Spider. Take it out and then slowly approach the top of the stairs. There's another Poison Floater off to the right. Use the same strategy as the previous one and then continue onto the landing.
Hard Mode
In Hard/Ironman mode, there is a second Poison Floater to the left inside an alcove along with a Medium Spider. Take out the floater as usual. The spider won't attack until you cross the threshold or shoot it, so as long as you stay far enough back you can concentrate on the floater.
Once on the landing, you'll be tempted to explore a bit. But resist that impulse and head toward the next set of stairs. At the top is a Poison Floater, so quickly take it out before it can float down to harass you. Once the threat has been eliminated, shoot the nearby crate for some Gold Coins. Now that this landing is safe, you can summon Odin to perch on the edge of the fountain up here. Odin Vision will reveal a hidden chest to his left. If you look straight up, you'll see that there's a rune highlighted in red.
Return to your own eyes and shoot the hidden chest to find a Large Key. Look to the tapestry to the right of the fountain to spot a
rune. Looking at the top of the fountain allows you to spot the
rune at the top. Head back down to the first landing and tap those to runes on the Panel. Once you've entered all four, a hidden compartment will open and reveal some Gems for you to take. Head back to the second landing and then take the next set of stairs up.
As you crest the top of the stairs, there will be another Spider to zap with fire. Shoot the barrel right in front of you for some Gold Coins. To the left of the stairs is another Message Sphere that you can take advantage of if you want updates on what that rapscallion Fergrin had gotten up to. Continue climbing the stairs until you reach the exit door. Walk through into the next room.
